Jay Chou Speaks English

Inteview with Jay Chou at Green Hornet Premiere

LOL....this is super hilarious. I seriuosly couldn't imagine it. Jay Chou's English profiency was always a far cry from even able to speak broken English. I still remember the only word he said on BBC news or on Bloomberg (sorry, bad memory) was 'Thank You'. Well for a start, I personally think he did okay despite learning it in just one month. It ain't easy to learn a new language. I admit truthfully that till now my mandarin literacy has shown very minor improvements for the past... almost 3 years? I suppose.

According to the Reuters, - It's a role that introduced U.S. audiences to Bruce Lee, and now Taiwanese singer and actor Jay Chou will play martial arts master Kato in an upcoming movie version of "The Green Hornet,". Finally, Jay Chou has hit or breached into the Hollywood world. This is the first step. I am sure there will be more if the movie does not become another asian-US based flop and he will receive more offerings in future.

I guess Jay has shown great effort in speaking English. Thumbs up Jay! He just need practice as the famous saying goes 'Practice makes perfect' (I should be telling that myself :P). By the way, I did not know he own 12 cars?? WOW! And now he wants to get what he calls it, a Black Beauty?

The clip was adapted from the premiere of the upcoming movie, Green Hornet which stars Jay as Kato together with Seth Rogen and Cameron Diaz. The Green Hornet movie will be in theatres in our locals on this coming CNY. Watch out fans of Jay!

Release date: 1st February 2011 (Malaysia)

Sunshine by Monkey Majik

Good Morning! The moment I woke up  somehow these few songs just run through my mind. I don't know why. I guess it is a sign for me to share them with you readers. The first is sung by Monkey Majik which is a jpop based group. I just love the songs that they sing it has got the western element in it. I guess that's why I love the tunes. Click to play and you judge it yourself. FYI, western element comes from the the two lead singers whom are canadian. Yeap, they are. I didn't get that wrong. I first discovered them from the OST of Nurarihyon no Mago (an ongoing anime) featuring the song Fast Forward and Sunshine.

Next, it is Capsule also another japanese based with a more techno and dance touch. Yea I'm not so much into techno but some of their songs sounded really refreshing, cute and cheerful. It makes you feel happy (well, at least I do :D) First song it would be Sugarless and the OST for Liar Game, Love or Lies and Stay With You. I like the 1st and 3rd better. Enjoy!

Listening to your MP3s provides Joy or Sorrow?

Earlier this week, I read the papers which mentioned on the negative effects of listening to your favourite music at extreme volume continuously which will eventually lead to permanent deafness. According to the experts, we humans are exposed to approx 100dB daily where the source of the noise is not just solely from your music but also the environment in your workplace, people shouting at your ear and even when your driving with a malfunctioned window which always drop loose that permits more noise from the vehicle on the roads and the as well as the car engine (well, at least that is what I go through every morning).

We naturally tend to increase the volume automatically when you couldn't here the music clearly especially in a noisy environment. However, this not advisable and you are definitely looking forward in harming your eardrums for good. If you don't believe to my babbling here, try blasting your music player in a noisy environment till you are able to listen to your music clearly (referring to earphones) and promptly after that, leave the room to a very much quieter one.  You will realise how much you are damaging your ears to.

I am sure those of you have experienced attending a 1-2hr concert will leave the show with a partial deaf ear for temporary. We listen to music everywhere we go in the car, at home, even when your waiting at the bus stop or you go ahead think of it yourself, I am pretty sure you are quite clear with your lifestyle.

As a piece of advice, be a diligent entertainment-goer and you’ll be fine because your ears have to take a nap too!

Kpop Party organised by Digi on the 13th of Jan, was the day where all B2UTIES(fyi: they are BEAST/B2ST fans) ,G.NA's & 4 MINUTE 's fandom were anticipating for.

B2ST sang: Special, Oasis, Soom, V.I.U., Beautiful & Shock...
According to the news, Gikwang was not present due to his busy schedule.
4 MINUTE sang: I My Me Mine, Hot Issue, Hightlight & others...

G.NA sang: Supa Solo, I'll Back Off So You Can Live..
Unfortunately the Rain, The King of K-pop didn't come down, or she would have be sang "If You Want a Lover".
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rumours have said that there might be a SUPER SHOW 3 by Super Junior but rumours are rumours and the source cannot be sure of. I am sure all the ELFs out there are absolutely eager to know. Will they actually hold two concerts in a row for consecutive years? Who knows? Maybe :)

Christmas Lights

by Coldplay

Christmas Lights by Coldplay

Yea I know, it is a little too late for posting on last year's Christmas but I just got to share this song, Christmas Lights. I just love the mellowy feel and the jingles added to it. How, typical of them. It has been awhile since Coldplay had their last album, Fix You and have recently released a new single for Christmas. I have definitely been longing for them to be back and perform new songs. The lead singer, Chris Martin and the rest of the band must have been busy with their marriage and family lives.

And incase those of you who do not know Coldplay, shame on you! (just kidding). They are an Irish band and are popular especially in the UK and Europe area. They are currently holding shows at the Europe but have no plans in touring Asia yet. How, upsetting.

P/S: When is it Coldplay's turn to perform in KL??
